Velocity is the fastest zip line in the world and one of the main attractions at Zip World. Ready for the next adventure? The Quarry Karts are gravity fuelled three-wheelers which are taken to the top of an obstacle-filled 3-kilometre slate track before being allowed to race through the track below. With banked corners, tunnels and chicanes to make the track as interesting as possible, this won’t be a drive you’ll soon forget.

Quarry Flyer is a miniature Velocity! This zip line starts at the top of the mine and sends 2 parallel riders flying 110 metres through the air hurling towards a stop off point which will become the second zip jumping off point. From there you’ll zip another 90 metres back down to the ground. Perfect for younger children or those who aren’t ready for the speed or height of Velocity.

Ready for the roller coaster – without the car? Aero Explorer has you covered. Riders will climb the two spiral towers before setting off and gliding across 400m of track. Riders will have time to take in the scenery of the surrounding landscapes while soaring above the quarry and be left feeling energised and ready for the next adventure.

While Zip World is known for its adrenaline fuelled programme of daily adventures, the Penrhyn Quarry Tour deviates from that with its 90-minute trip up to the top of the quarry. Reaching about 1,500 feet above sea level, tour users will take in the breathtaking views of the Ogwen Valley, Menai Strait and Snowdonia National Park.
